It’s that time of year to book your catch and release sturgeon trips. These hard fighting fish are plentiful in the Willamette River and offer excellent action for those being introduced to fishing. At this time I am also booking split trips with half day spring chinook and half day catch and release sturgeon. Since it is still early for chinook this is a nice way to break up the day and get to see the rod bend on sturgeon if the chinook are not cooperating. Book your trip ASAP!
